Birdhouse Social Volunteers

Birdhouse Social August 18th 2012

We are looking for an army of volunteers to help with the Birdhouse Social.  We have the craft day for the social on August 11th and the Social on August 18th.  Please Email us at volunteers@afhatlanta.org to let us know when you can volunteer and what role(s) you would like to help with. Attached is a spreadsheet of the shifts for day of volunteering.

Below are the general positions available:

Birdhouse Set Design Craft Day August 11 (10am-5pm) See Event page

Birdhouse Day Of
Birdhouse Set Up, 2 – 4 people
(Hang birdhouses/ set them up, fill out bid forms)

Set Design Install, 3 - 6 people
(Hang decorations and AFHA banner)

General Site Set Up, 2 people
(Set up bars, welcome table, DJ booth, food table, and check booth)

Oasis Build, 2 - 3 people (9am - 11am) & (7pm - 8pm)
(Help build and take down Oasis bus shelter)

Welcome Table, 2 people per shift

(Greet guests, inform them about the event, and offer purchase of raffle tickets $2 each)

AFHA Info Table, 2 people
(Talk about AFHA & projects)

2 Bars, 1 - 2 people for each bar per shift
(Serve wine, beer, tea)

Floor People, 2 - 3 people per shift
(Encourage bidding, assist food station, maintain floor, and assist runners)

Auction Runners, 3 - 4 people, (7pm – 8pm)
(Bring birdhouses to checkout and top copy of bid form; make sure guests don't take birdhouses)

Checkout, 1 - 2 people, (7pm – 8pm)
(Cash, Check, Credit Card)

Clean Up (As many people as possible)
(Take down everything and clean up the site)
